Ebonie Walker is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and founder of Riley Counseling and Consulting, PLC. Ebonie holds a clinical social work license in the following states: Washington LW61371998, Florida SW 20645, South Carolina 14694, Michigan 6801100444, New Jersey 44SC05732000, Oregon L7041, and Virginia 0904006451. She has practiced in the mental health field for 22 years with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Old Dominion University and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Norfolk State University, completing her residency at the Veteran Affairs Medical Center-Hampton in the Substance Abuse Treatment Program.
Ebonie uses evidenced-based treatment approaches such as Mindfulness, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Animal Assisted Therapy. Her specific areas of emphasis are self care, stress management, healthy relationships, and professional/personal development. Her therapeutic style is down-to-earth, practical, warm, strengths-based, and engaging.
